Mang Pepe and his family make a trip from QUEZON City to Bicol on pedicabs ("sikad-sikad"). Mang Pepe and his significant other, Remedios, their little girl Pina, their child JP with his pregnant visually impaired spouse Isabel, and their puppy Kikay, live respectively in a shanty at a Quezon City ghetto. To survive every day, Mang Pepe drives his pedicab and convey different burdens to the market while Aling Remedios washes clothing for her neighbors. JP and Pina both attempt to win a living and Isabel, in her visual deficiency, sees and talks with Jesus Christ. Understanding their pointless life in the city, Mang Pepe persuades the family to backpedal to the place where they grew up in Bicol. Without enough transport cash, they choose to utilize pedicans so they could "pedal" their way back to the region. A progression of disastrous occasions happen that will either test their assurance or occupy them from their adventure home.
