Set in the 1980s, the film recounts the account of Fidela (Elizabeth Oropesa), a 65-year-old resigned educator who builds up an uncommon bond with a youthful Japanese photojournalist Kenji (Vin Abrenica), who has an uncanny similarity to her lost love named Nestor (additionally played by Vin Abrenica). Nestor, who was going to wed Fidela in the 1940s, went off to battle in the war (World War II) and was murdered.
Decades later, Fidela met Kenji who was covering the EDSA unrest in 1986 in Baler. She thought back about her past as Kenji charms a neighborhood stunner named Rory (played by Ellen Adarna). Fidela helped Kenji outperform the difficulties given to him by Rory to demonstrate his genuine sentiments towards her
